Flat splitting is a processing method in which a round bamboo is split into equal parts and then the width is made uniform using a special machine.
Various expressions are possible by adding processing such as bending or changing the size.
In this project, 100 flat split bamboo pieces, each 5 mm wide and 8 m long, were used to create a giant semicircle.
By using a pair of mirrors, the circle appears to continue forever.
